Welcome to The Copper Shed!
Nestled in a small town in south Louisiana, our small, family-owned LLC specializes in crafting exquisite handmade home and garden items from copper and bronze. Each piece is meticulously forged using hand tools in a shed rich with history and love. This very shed was once used as a workshop where my grandparents cracked and processed pecans from their trees and where my grandfather crafted beautiful wooden frames by hand with a meticulous level of detail.
After their passing, I purchased the home and decided to honor their legacy by continuing to create beautiful pieces in this cherished space. My passion for copper art was ignited during my apprenticeship and ongoing partnership with Waterfall Forge, a local business renowned for its handmade copper fountains.
Every item from The Copper Shed is a labor of love, forged during toddler nap times, before my full-time job as an occupational therapist, or late at night after my little one has gone to sleep. I prioritize being the best dad and husband to my wonderful family, and I cherish every moment spent with them. Therefore, the items in my shop are priced to reflect the precious free time I dedicate to creating these unique pieces.
