The tray can come polished or colored. Colored refers to the flame coloring process that brings it the deep, rich copper colors. Polished in simple a shiny, light copper color. Each tray can come with or without a protective clear coat. A clear coat will lock in the shine, provide some scratch resistance, and prevent weathering and patina. Choosing no clear coat will allow the natural patina process to occur, but will also maintain the option to shine up and polish again in the future. You can’t go wrong either way!
